A.R. Kane drenched the late 1980s with a blissful sound that reshaped indie music, blending pop, dub, jazz, dance, noise guitar and psychedelia into what they named “Dream Pop”, a term that later defined an entire genre. Their sound drifts between beauty and chaos, dance and experimental. Iconoclastic to the core, A.R. Kane challenged social and musical preconceptions. Their legacy is embedded in carving out a unique musical path, which to this day welds elements of pop, psych, dub, electronica, funk, noise, jazz, ambient and more, all in a singular style that has secured their cult status ever since.
